Situation
On 10/27 HR said Wolford wanted to delay advertising the Kubernetes open req another week. Peter checked with Wolford and confirmed in the HR thread that the req can be advertised Thursday, Stratum launch day, with Wolford aligned.
Reasoning
Once Stratum is announced publicly there is nothing to protect; delaying only slows a hard hire.
