Bjorn post-training / sovereign-stack ask goes on the Value Drivers board as a product block; engineering hangs a learn-first research effort off it
Situation
Bjorn asked for help understanding late-stage training of open-weight models on customer proprietary data as a use case pairing Stratum, Fuzzball and Open Waldo. Peter said yes, framed it as a use case for the existing portfolio rather than a new product, and refused to run it out of band: Bjorn puts a single block in the middle of the three-tier Value Drivers board saying CIQ wants to support this use case; that block triggers Peter to attach engineering (people from across CIQ engineering, possibly external contractors); step one is educating Bjorn and Peter before deciding whether anything goes into Jira. He applied the same move to Fuzzball/Stratum being agent-deployable - a block in the middle of the board with work hanging off both sides.
Reasoning
A high-excitement ask from the President is exactly where everyone wants to skip process; running it through the board proves the machinery Peter spent a year building. Lack of internal expertise is not a reason to bypass the trigger - finding expertise is engineering work once the trigger fires. Learn-first avoids premature Jira tasks before the right questions are known.
Additional Context
Peter also restated that the Value Drivers board is not a work-tracking board, against Chris Baek drift in that direction.
Observed Evidence
You might ask us to build a popsicle stand one day and I do not have anybody with experience doing that, but your ask has to be the trigger. I do not want the value drivers board being the work tracking board.

Our processes were stood up to deliver against exactly an ask like this from you. I do not want to do this one out of band. Step one is learn.
